Meet The Team
We get to know your teeth, personally.
Alexia
I am Alexia and I qualified from Birmingham University in 1992 (GDC 68086). I worked in hospital initially doing Maxillofacial surgery and Orthodontics and continued Oral Surgery and Orthodontics one day a week whilst working in practice.
I set up The Courtyard Dental Practice in 2007 once my youngest daughter was settled in school. I stopped working at the hospital in 2017 to allow more time in practice as it continued to grow.
I enjoy the day to day challenge of dentistry and growing my skills as things change. Outside of work I run, walk two bouncy springer spaniels and enjoy reading. I also love the rugby.
Rob
Dr Cope uses the Osstem and Nobel Biocare implant systems and has over 20 years experience in this procedure.
He qualified from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 1992 (GDC 68088). He then worked as an associate in Bromsgrove carrying out routine dentistry and Oral Surgery under General Anaesthetic. He also worked in a local Oral Surgery department under local and general anaesthetic.
In 1998 he gained a certificate in restorative dentistry from St Ann’s in Manchester. He also has successfully completed an implant dentistry course.

Rebecca qualified with Alexia and Rob, returning to Leicester to start work in the practice she had attended regularly as a child, initially as a vocational trainee and then as an associate.
Rebecca has now been practicing for over 30 years and enjoys all aspects of dental care, particularly aesthetic restructure and working with anxious or nervous individuals.
Outside of work Rebecca enjoys travelling (particularly skiing), cooking and listening to classical music.
